Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) is one the leading private universities of Bangladesh. Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) is one of the eight private Universities who receive the Green Signal from the government. Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) were established in 2003. This private university is modeled on North American Universities. Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) were duly approved by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC) and the Ministry of Education, Government of the Peoples' Republic of Bangladesh. This private university was founded by Dhaka Commerce College. This private university is situated in Mipur-2, Dhaka-1216.

Admission Procedure Information
To get admitted in Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) students have to collect the admission form from the BUBT registration offices. To get the admission form students have to pay tk.500. Students have to full fill the admission form properly. For admission in Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) students have to full fill some requirements. It requires for both undergraduate and graduate program students.
The requirements for Undergraduate Programs are: GPA of at least 2.5 or 2nd division in both SSC and HSC examination or GPA of at least 2.00 either in SSC or HSC examination, but the total GPA in both the examinations must be at least 6.00 or 'O' Level with at least 5 subjects with a minimum of 10 points and 'A' Level with at least 2 subjects with a minimum of 4 points (based on the calculation of A=4, B=3, C=2 and D=1) or North American High School Diploma, International Baccalaureate, or equivalent. In case of sons/daughter of Freedom Fighters a total GPA of at least 5.00 in both SSC and HSC examinations. But the proof of Father/Mother as Freedom Fighters must be submitted.
For B.Sc. Eng. in CSE and EEE & B.Sc. in CSIT and Textile Engineering science background with Mathematics and/or Physics at the HSC or equivalent level. Students having no Mathematics and/or Physics will be required to do redial courses (non-credit) in these two subjects. For B.Sc. in CSIT and B.Sc. Eng. in CSE (3 years) for Diploma Engineers, three or four years Diploma in Engineering from Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) or a Diploma recognized by BTEB with a CGPA of 2.5 out of 4.00 in any engineering discipline from any recognized institute.
The requirements for Graduated Programs Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) are: For MBA, EMBA you need Bachelor degree in any field of study from any recognized University or an institute having not more than one third division in any public examination. Candidates from GCE track or with the equivalent foreign degree / diploma / certificate can also apply. For EMBA minimum two years work experience at managerial level is also required. For MBM you need Graduates in any discipline. For M.Sc. in Economics you need Graduate with four years undergraduate program in Economics or graduate with three years undergraduate program in Economics and willing to do some extra courses of 6-12 credit hours, if admitted. For M A in English (Two-Years) you need Graduate with English as a subject of study or Graduate with 3-Years Honors Degree in English. For M.A in English Language Teaching (One Year) you need Four years BA ( Hons) / Two years BA with 2 years MA / Three years BA with One year MA, (preferably) in English / English Language Having 2nd Class / CGPA 2.5.

Application Package:
The complete application package must be submitted to the admission office of BUBT by the dates announced in each semester. A complete application package includes the following documents: 1) Application form duly filled in. 2) Copies of SSC and HSC or equivalent examination certificates and mark sheets/transcripts and SSC registration card for undergraduate programs and also copies of Bachelor Degree certificate and marks sheet for graduate programs. 3) Original certificates, mark sheets/transcripts and SSC registration card must be produced at the time of submission of application for verification by the officer of BUBT in charge of admission. 4) Three passport size and four-stamp size color photographs. After necessary verification of the application and documents the selected candidates must get themselves admitted within the specified time on payment of required fees.
Transfer students with credit transfer: A student may transfer credits from any private University to BUBT. In this case student has to submit all the transcripts from the previous private university. Transfer students must have at least 2.00 CGPA for undergraduate and graduate programs on the scale of 4. Equivalence of courses for those students who transfer from the other private university will be determined by the university. The residency requirement is that at least 60 percent of credits and internship/project of 3 to 4 credits for a degree must be earned at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT).
