The coordinates of Sylhet is about 24°53′52″N91°52′17″E.Sylhet is one of the most beautiful and most attractive tourism spots of Bangladesh. It is situated on banks of the “SURMA RIVER”. According to the geographical map it is in the north-east Bangladesh. There are near about 500,000 people live in sylhet. There are lots of beautiful places in sylhet. Tea estates, sub-tropical hills, rain forests and river valleys are surrounding the city. Even there are lots of shrine and mazar in sylhet. Because it is also the Islamic spiritual center and was the home of some biggest Islamic Sufis. That’s why it is also known as city of 360 Sufis. Such as Genarel M.A.G Osmani the Commander-in-Chief of Bangladesh Liberation war in 1971, one of the most famous actor of Bangladesh Salman Shah etc. About Sylhet, there is one more important fact & that is- The Sylhet Division produces most of Bangladesh's tea yield and natural gas. Kean Bridge and the Ali Amjad Clock:

There is an ancient iron bridge on bank of Surma River when you put first step in the city. One can spend some pleasant time on the bank. It’s too much exciting to roam on boot. Near the bridge you can see the Ali Amzad’s 140 year’s old watch. That place would be a beautiful tourism spot to the travelers who like adventure. Michel kin was the governor of Asam state in previous century. He came to visit the Sylhet. To remind his charming memory this bridge has been constructed. According to the history, then train was the only medium to contact with Asam. For reasonable reason this historical iron bridge was made. In 1933 the railway department started to construct the bridge. And in 1936 the construction of the bridge was completed and opened for all. In 1971 during the liberation war the regiment of East Pakistan blown away some part of it by dynamite. After the liberation war it was repaired by woods and some other elements and opened for small vehicles. 

Surma River:

Surma River is one of the most beautiful and one of biggest river of Bangladesh. Surma River is a part of Surma-Meghna River system. This river starts from the Barak River of India. Surma River is divided into two parts one is Surma River and another is Kushiyara River. The average depth of Surma River is near about 280 feet or 86 m and maximum depth is about 550 or 170 m. Surma River is a perfect watery place to have a beautiful boat journey and this is also a great opportunity to have a family and friends time. Every year the program of “Boat rowing” is held on this famous Surma River.

How to go:

Now the main problem is how to go or how to reach in Sylhet. To go Sylhet from Dhaka one can use bus, train or air lines. The bus services are Shymoly, Hanif, Ena, Egal,Shohag, Greenlineare some main bus services. The rent of A/C service will be 1200 tk (+,-) and the rent of none A/C service will be 470 tk. The train services are Kalni, Jountika, Upoban etc. Rent would be 245tk to 1300tk depending on classes.

Where to stay: 

There are lots of hotels in Sylhet city. Shrine of Hazrat Shah Jalal (R):

The full name of Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) is Shah Jalal ad-Din al-Mujarrad al-Turk al Naqshbandi (1271 CE to 15 March 1364 CE). Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) was one of the most important Sufi Muslim at that time of Bengal. Hazrat Shah Jalal’s name is associated with the Muslim movement into the north eastern Bengal. He was the spread of Islam in Bangladesh through Sufism. There is a long history of his of travel between the Middle East, Persia, Central Asia and South Asia. According to the history, Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) arrived at Sylhet in 1303. The Mazar of Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) is situated at Sylhet. Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) was the teacher of Sunnah of Muslim religion. He was performing prayers in solitary atmosphere. Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) always lead a solitary, retire and lonely life as an ascetic. For this Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) was called by the name of Al Mujarrad. He was given the name by Shaykh-ul-Mashaykh. Hazrat Shah Jalal’s (R) birthday and birth place was not confirmed by the history. But a number of scholars have claimed that Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) was born in 1271 CE in Turkey. And he travel to Yemen for further learning. Again, some believe Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) was born in Yemen. 

The name of his mother was Syeda Hasina Fatima and the name of his father was Mohammad bin Ibrahim. Hazrat Shah Jalal’s (R) father was a Muslim cleric. Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) was raised by his uncle named Syed Ahmed Kabir who lived in Mecca. He was learned from him also. Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) was Hafiz of islam and became an Islamic Theology. It took 30 years to achieve the spiritual education. He did lot’s of practice and meditation to achieve the spiritual education of his entire life. According to the legend it was known that, once one of his uncles Sheikh Kabir gave Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) a handful of soil. Then he asked Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) to travel to India. He asked Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) to propagate Islam in any place of India where the soil was exactly matches that which Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) was given by his uncle in both smell and color. As a result Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) started his travel to India to settle Islam and he found the match of the soil in Sylhet of Bangladesh.

Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) devoted himself to Islam for his entire life. He was a very simple person. His life was very simple. Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) travels a lot of countries. He was a great guide line to the people of Sylhet about Islam. Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) always tried to help people and tried to give them good solution of their problems. After traveling in Sylhet Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) spend his rest of life in here. Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) was died in 15 March 1346 CE. His dargah is situated in Sylhet which is known as Dargah Mahalla. It is one of the most important shrine of Bangladesh. It is very well known traveling place to the traveler for travel. There is a mosque in here which is the largest mosque in Sylhet and one of the largest in Bangladsh.

How to go:

Now we will discuss how should travel in Sylhet and the shrine of Hazrat Shah Jalal (R). For traveling in Sylhet from Dhaka one can use bus, train or air lines. Chittagong is one of the most beautiful cities of Bangladesh. It is another hill tracking travel zone. It is also known as Porto Grand de Bengala and in the age of Mughal the name of the city was Islamabad. After Dhaka city the Chittagong is the 2nd most populous city in Bangladesh. Chittagong port is the main sea port of Bangladesh. This city located on the bank of the River named Karnaphuli. The population of Chittagong metropolitan city is near about 6,500,000. The total area of the city is 168.07 km2 (64.89 sq. mi). The Coordinates of the Chittagong is 22°22′0″N 91°48′0″E, and the Country is Bangladesh, and the District is Chittagong district, and the Division Chittagong is also Chittagong division. Now a day Chittagong has become very attractive traveling zone to the tourist. Lots of people come to visit this city every day. Some of them come from abroad. So the city plays a vital role in commercial, financial and industrial hub. There are many beautiful places in Chittagong to travel. Here we will give a short list of the traveling zone of Chittagong. 

Banskhali Echo Park: 

This echo park situated in Banskhali at Chittagong. Firstly you have to reach Chittagong from Dhaka. Then go to Banskhali from Chittagong. There are many bus services to go Chittagong and rent is 480 to 1200 taka. You can also travel Chittagong by train and rent is 320 taka to 610 taka only. It takes 7 hours to reach Chittagong. You can go the Eco Park by CNG or Auto Rickshaw. The entry fee of this park is 10 taka only. There are two long bridge in this park by which you can see around of this park. There are two towers in this park which is best for sight-seeing and also a mini zoo for the tourists or visitors. You have to leave his park before evening because there is no guest house or motel in this park for the tourist or visitors. In this park you will find light food like as biscuits, chanacur, cheeps etc. but you cannot complete your lunch because there is no hotel in this park. You can also travel there with your family because it is a safe place for the tourists. You have to neat and clean this park which is ordered by the Park organization. There is a beach near to the park. You can also travel this beach. It is a very beautiful sea beach and important tourism spot in Chittagong.

Mirsharai range:

Chittagong is a hill city. It is the perfect place for hill tracking or outdoor spots and also travel. Mirsharai is a well-known upazila in Bangladesh under the Chittagong district.It is a beautiful tourism spot. Its total area is 482.88 square km. this upazila is surrounded by Tripura State of India. The hills range on the northern and eastern side of this sub district which is the perfect place for hill tracking and traveling. Total populations are about 325712. The main river of this upazila is Feni. You can spend a memorable day in your life in this Mirsharai range.

Sitakunda Eco Park Bangladesh:

Sitakunda Candranath hill is the perfect place for hill tracking in Chittagong. It is about 35 km away from the main town. It is very near to the Sitakunda main Bazar. This hill is our favorite small tracking destination. It takes about 2 hours to climb this hill. At the time of climbing you can see many temples, waterfall, hills trail and so onat this tourism spot. This hill is situated beside on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway. To travel this tourism spot firstly you have to reach Sitakunda and then you can go there by walking. You can also travel a beautiful Eco park which is very close to Chandranath hill. Local name of this Eco Park is Shitakunda Eco Park. It is about 33 km from Chittagong main town. This park is full of natural beauty and endless repository. There are lots of trees and wild life in this park. You can also visit 4 waterfall in this park.

Shupto dhara waterfall: 

You can find this fall in the Sitakunda Eco Park. You will sea the signboard of Shupto dhara waterfall in the way of Eco park road. If you walk through the upstream of water you will find the beautiful Shuptp dhara waterfall. You can get help from the local people to reach this waterfall. It is really so beautiful tourism place for travel. It can be a best memorable visit or travel experience in your life. You should travel this beautiful place at rainy season. If you want to enjoy the pure and natural beauty of the Shupto dhara waterfall.

Sohosro dhara waterfall: 

Shopto dhara waterfall is very close to Sohosro dhara waterfall. This is another beautiful tourism spot of Bangladesh. They are on the same way. You can go there by walking from Shopto dhara waterfall. It is also one of the most beautiful and attractive tourist spot in the Bangladesh. Every a lot of tourists come to visit those waterfall.

Khoiyachora waterfall: 

It is the biggest waterfall in the Sitakunda-Mirsharai range. This waterfall is one of the most beautiful tourism places of Chittagong. It is so much difficult to travel there. There are so many waterfall in the same trail. To travel there you have to start walking in the Boro Takiya Bazar. Boro Takiya is a small Bazar beside the Dhaka-Chittagong highway. The rent is about 50 taka only Chittagong to Boro Takiya Bazar. It takes 1.5 hours to reach Khoiya Chora waterfall from Boro Takiya Bazar. Another most beautiful waterfall is Boro Darugha Hat waterfall. It is the most attractive tourist spot in Chittagong District.

Foy’s Lake: 

Foy's Lake is the most important tourism place of Chittagong. Foy’s Lake is in the khulshi at Chittagong town. It is about 8 km away from the main town. Foy’s lake is the most beautiful and attractive lake in Bangladesh. It is an artificial lake. In 1924 it was dug under the Assam Bengal Railway Authority and it was known as Pahartali Lake. It is renamed by the British railway engineerFoy. Now the present ownership of this lake is Bangladesh Railway. The biggest hill in the Chittagong is Batali hill which is situated beside the Foy’s Lake. This artificial lake is one of the attractive and most beautiful tourist spot in Bangladesh. Country’s largest construction company Concord has set up an entertainment park in this lake, where visitors can tour the lake, boats, restaurants, tracking and concerts are also held.A beautiful small zoo is in here for the tourist. You can also travel this mini zoo. There are many cottages in this lake. You can also stay there. Every year lots of tourist come to travel this beautiful lake to enjoy the natural beauty. To travel this beautiful place firstly you have to reach Chittagong then straight lake.

Chittagong Zoo and Court Building:

It is another beautiful tourism spot. You can travel this zoo for your mind refreshment. Cause it is a very beautiful place in the Chittagong town. This beautiful and attractive zoo was built in 1989 beside the Foy’s Lake. Total area of this park is 6 acres. In 2000 the total animal of this park is 280. This zoo is an artificial zoo which provides you mind refreshment and remove boringness in your life. Now we will talk about Court Building of Chittagong. This court building situated in the traditional hill Porir Pahar. By climbing this hill you will find this old building. Now this building is used for DC office. If you want you can travel this place. Really it is a very beautiful place in the Chittagong town. You will not forget this attraction in your life. War Cemetery Chittagong Bangladesh: 

There is a war cemetery in the Chittagong which is known as Chittagong war cemetery. It is about 22 km north form the Shah Amanat International Airport and 8 km from Chittagong Port. After the 2nd world war British Army built this war cemetery. There are 400 graves in this cemetery. You can go there by bus or Auto Rickshaw from the Chittagong main town. It is an attractive place to travel. Every year a lot of tourists come to visit this war cemetery. By traveling there you have an extra experience in your life. 

Lal Dighi: 

Lal Dighi is one of the most attractive and beautiful traveling places in Bangladesh. It is situated end of the jail road in the Chittagong main town. There are two red building besides the pond and that’s why it is known Lal Dighi. There is also a temple in the northern side of the pond. Raja Ray Bahadur was a king of Chittagong. He was the owner of this Lal Dighi. Chittagong City Corporation is the new owner of this Dighi. You can travel there by bus or Auto Rickshaw. It is really a beautiful place to travel. 

Ethnological Museum of Chittagong: 

It is situated at the Agrabad in the Chittagong main city. This beautiful museum was built in 1965. There is no entry charge to enter the museum. It is always opened for the visitors or tourist. This museum is also used as a laboratory. You can travel this place to collect an extra experience in your life.

Halda River & Patenga Sea beach:

This River is in south-eastern part of Chittagong. The total length of this river is 81 km. This river mixed with Karnaphuli River in the kalurgath. Halda River is named by the saldha hilly village. This River is started from the Batnatoli hill. It is a very beautiful river in the Bangladesh. You can enjoy the natural beauty to travel this river. Patenga Sea beach is one of the most attractive and beautiful picnic spots in Bangladesh. Patenga beach is the closest see beach in the Chittagong town.

Khagrachari is the natural wild beauty of Bangladesh. Khagrachari is the south-eastern district of Bangladesh. Khagrachari is the best place to travel. Alutila hill & Cave: Alutila hill is one of the most beautiful places of Khagrachari. It is situated at the entrance of Khagrachari. The height of alutila is near about 3000 fit from the ground. In the age of 2nd world war departure, people came here to collect potato for feeding themselves. From that time it was named as Alutila. There is a cave in this tila. It’s called Alutila cave. The length of the cave is 250 fit. To across the cave it takes 10 to 15 minutes. Entry fee of this cave is 5 taka only. You can also enjoy the natural beauty to travel this place. Travel is the better solution guide for mind refreshment. You must need a torch when you walk & you will also get in the cave. While walking you must be careful about your footsteps.

Beautiful Apu Waterfall: Apu fall is those types of waterfalls where a small number of people went. But it is very close to Richhang waterfall in Khagrachari. If you want to travel Apu falls firstly you have to reach khagrachari. Apu waterfall is one of the most beautiful falls in Bangladesh. You can also enjoy the natural beauty to travel this place. Goddess Pond: It is also known as “Debotar Pukur”. The local name of Goddess pond is “Matail Pukri”. It is a beautiful pond on top of a hill which is situated around 864 feet from sea level. To reach this pond you have to cross 4 hills. New Zealand: An interesting place in khagrachari with interesting name – New Zealand. Normally it is a café with some munchies. There are also some paddy fields on the either side. Decoration of this restaurant is very simple. There is also a kid's zone which is really excellent but so simple. In this café they used to serve food so quickly and you will have seen the local farmers were planting the paddy. New Zealand is not far from the main town. So you can visit this beautiful place. It is one of the oldest and gorgeous Buddhist temples in the Bangladesh. 82 Altitudes: It is situated at Tabalchari which is the southern part of Matiranga Union. Oronno kutir: Panchari Shantipur Oronno kutir is situated about 30 km north from main town in 1999. You can go there from Khagrachari town by CNG or Cader Gari. Haja chara/ Thangzang fall: you can see this waterfall in Dighinala to Sajek road after crossing 10 no Army Camp. It is about 12km from Dighinala sub-district. There are so many road directions for your easy traveling. Roloi Para: Roloi Para is a wonderful village like as Sajek which in Rangamati district. It is 1800 ft. high from the sea level. Sometimes BGB can’t give permission to entry this village for tourist safety. Cause there is no BGB Camp in Kolongk Para village. The Sajek BGB Camp is the last BGB Camp. How to go:

One can go Khagrachari by bus from Dhaka. The buses are Shyamoli Paribahan, Hanif, Shanti paribahan etc. The rent Hanif or Shyamoli bus will be 520 (+/-). The last destination of Shanti paribahan bus service is Dighi nala bus stop. The rent will be 580 (+/-) of this bus service. There are also St. Martin's paribahan, BRTC bus services.

Where to stay:

The hotels of Khagrachari are Khagrachari projoton motel, Giri Thebra, hotel ecosori international, hotel shoilo shoborn etc. Each room contains two beds in every motel. Rent: AC-2100 taka and Non AC-1300 taka. Giri Thebra is another motel which is in the Khagrachari Cantonment. Civil people can also stay here. All the rooms of this motel are Air conditioned. Two VIP rooms are available here and rent 3050 taka. The rent of double room is 2050 taka and single room is 1200 taka.

Now a day Alutila hill & cave and Risarng fall have become very attractive traveling zone to the tourists. It is too easy to go these two places from Khagrachari. Bandarban is a hilly city. This hilly city located, 9 km south-east from Chittagong. Unrestricted greenery and natural beauty, it seems the hills want to touch the cloud. You can visit in the daughter of the mountain, Bandarban. The earth location of Bandarban is 21°48′N 92°24′E. Bandarban district is the part of Chittagong Division. It is the South-Eastern district in Bangladesh. It is also one of the parts of Chittagong Hill Tracts. Bandarban is the most attractive traveling place in the Bangladesh. In our previous post we have discuss about Bandarban shortly. Now we will discuss about Bandarban briefly to give you a good guide lines and proper solution about Bandarban.

There is a legend about the naming of Bandarban district. Common forms words of the residents of this area are many monkeys once lived here. The monkeys at the entrance to the city folk come to the mountain side, constantly eat salt. Lake water is due to the growth of the rain. This rhyme fringe group of monkeys cannot go to the mountain. Could not go, they hold each other in rows along the fringe of the rhyme. Rhyme crossing monkey saw this view of people in this city. This time, this place came to be known as "myaakachi rhyme". In Marma myaaka means monkeys and chi means dam.

Over time, the name of this form of Bengali speaking accent was as Bandarban. However, the actual name of the district in Marma "RDA kyaoci MRO". During the period of British rule in 1860, the district was declared the Chittagong Hill Tracts. At that time it was under the district of Chittagong Hill Tracts. As of 1900, the Chittagong Hill Tracts of Chittagong Hill Tracts Regulation is divided into three circles Chakma Circle, Mong Circle, and Bohmong circle. Bandarban district administration started in 1951 as a subdivision. It was an administrative unit of Rangamati district. Later on April 18, 1981, Former Lama geographical and administrative boundaries of the subdivision, including the seven sub-district of Bandarban Hill District as the debut. Nilgiri: Nilgiri is one of the main attractions to the travelers for travel. Nilgiri means "Blue Mountain". Nilgiri is one of the most beautiful traveling places of Bangladesh. Every year lots of travelers travel this beautiful place. It is highest mountain in Basngladesh. It is situated at Thanchi Upazila which is about 48 Km South-East of Bandarban district on Chimbuk Range at a height of 2400 feet from sea level. When you reach the top of the mountain you feel that the cloud embraces yourself and you can touch the cloud there which is very interesting and attractive to the tourists. Golden Temple: Golden Temple is a beautiful spot for travel. Buddhist dhatu jadi is called as the largest Buddhist temple in Bangladesh which is also known as golden temple due to temples colour is golden. But the temple is locally well known as Kyang. This is another beautiful traveling place of Bandarban. The temple consists of the second largest Buddha statue in Bangladesh. The Buddha Dhatu Jadi temple attracts pilgrims and tourists in all over the world. It is situated at Pulpara 4 kilometer from close to Balaghata town, and 10 kilometer from in the remote Bandarban City. Meghla Park and Milonchori Hill side Resort: Meghla park the most beautiful traveling or visited spot for the tourists who travel from all over the country. Shoilo Propat fall: This is one of the most famous and visited natural fall of Bangladesh. Shoilo Propat is situated at Milanchari which is about 8km away from Bandarban town on the Bandarban Ruma road. It is another traveling spot of Bandarban. This fall is a good source for drinking water and household use for the local people and the water is very cool and transparent. There is a small market near the Shoilo Propat for trade local people handicrafts, handloom products and food which is very attractive to the tourists. Nilachol: If you want to watch the whole Bandarban city at a glance you need to go Nilachol which is one of the most popular tourist spots in Bandarban. The height of the Nilachol is 2000 feet from the surface. During rainy season you play with cloud here which is very interesting to the tourists. But when the sky is clear you watch the Chittagong port from here. The sight of sunset from here is very beautiful. The natural beauty of Nilachol attracts the tourist very much and that’s why Nilachol is called by many people "Darjeeling of Bangla" which is located at tiger para only about 5 Km away from the city.

Chimbuk Hill and Sangu River: Chimbuk hill is the third highest mountain in Bangladesh which is one of the most popular tourist spot in Bandarban and the height of this mountain is about 2800 meters from the sea level. It is just 26 kilometer away from Bandarban sadar. Tourists enjoy the journey because the road of this area is zigzag. You can also play with cloud here like nilgiri but when it is a shiny day, you can see the shades of clouds over the hills. The huge horizons of zigzag hills seem waves of a sea. The Sangu River is a river in Myanmar and Bangladesh. Its source is in the North Arakan Hills of Myanmar. It enters the Bandarban district from the east and flows west across the district and finally falls into the Bay of Bengal at the end of a course of 270 km. It is an important route to communicate with Ruma and Thanci Upazilla.

Tajingdong Hill and Keokaradang Hill: Tandingdong hill is very beautiful travel spot to the tourist. Tajingdong Hill is the top most hills of Bangladesh which is also known as ‘Bijoy’. It is about 1310 meters high from the sea level. In according to local tribal language “Tajing” means “Great” &“Dong” means “Hill” so it means “Great hill”. Tajindong located at Ramakri of Pangsha Union under Ruma Upazilla which is about 70 km away from Bandarban town. This natural beauty is surely attracts the mind of the adventurous people. During the winter season many adventurous tourist visit this place with great excitement. Another beauty of Bandarban is Keokaradong. Keokaradong is the second highest mountain and one of the most beautiful traveling spots of Bangladesh. Sometime officially it claimed as the highest peak of Bangladesh. Official height of this hill is 1230 meters and it is about 30km away from the Ruma Upazilla. This is the most popular hill of Bangladesh and become one of the most popular tourist spots of Bangladesh. Jadipai Falls and Boga Lake: Jadipai Falls is one of the widest water falls in Bangladesh and it is located at Ruma Upazila of Bandarban. The water of this fall is so cool and transparent. The flow of Jadipai fall becomes robust during the rainy season. This place is very attractive to the tourists. When you hear the sound of the water fall your mind refresh with joy. Boga Lake is also known as Bagakain Lake. Boga Lake is around 10 acres in size and situated 1800 feet from the sea level. The most wonderful point of this lake is it changes its colour from time to time. This sight is very attractive to the tourists and it is situated at Ruma Upazila in Bandarban. 

Mirinja Tourist Complex and Prantik Lake: Mirinja Tourist Complex is about 1500 feet high from sea level which situated at Lama Upazilla of Bandarban. The Parjatan Corporation developed an attractive tourist spot in this complex. You can watch Maheskhali Island, Bay of Bengal, Matamuhuri River and Lama Upazilla at a glance from this complex. Prantik Lake located in a village named “Holudia” near the Keranihat-Bandarban Road. It is about 14km from Bandarban town. Lake is around 29 acres in size which is surrounded bymany kinds of plants and trees. This lake is nice place for fishing but for this you have to get permission from the authority and you can tour the lake by paddle boat. This amazing place will certainly attract tourist mind. The management authority of this lake is Local Government Engineering Department, Bangladesh.

Nafa-khum Falls: Nafa-khum fall is another beautiful traveling spot of Bangladesh. Nafa-khum Falls is the largest waterfall of Bangladesh and Bandarban by volume of water falling. The word "Khum" is a Marma language which means "Waterfall". The falls are located in a remote area three hours' walking distance from Remakri of Thanchi Upazil of Bandarban. Here you can find a special type of flying fish. The local name is nating and it is found at the bottom in a small cave as they swim against the stream but cannot jump over the height of the fall. This falls is very attractive traveling spot to the tourists. You can also visit Rujuk Falls and Ruma canal which is another most attractive place in Bandarban. Firstly you can go from Dhaka to Chittagong by train or bus. Then straight go from Chittagong to Bandarban. Or you can go direct Bandarban from Dhaka. Alam, Hanif, unique, etc. Those buses leave from Fakirapul counters and besides the railway station counters. There are two non-AC buses Purobi and Purbani leave from the Bahaddarhat terminal to go Bandarban. Those buses left after 30 minutes for Bandarban. Rent per: 70 to 80 BDT. For internal journey there are some transportation called “Chander Gari.”

Lalbagh Fort has a long and interesting history because it is an incomplete Mughal Palace and it is a monument to the unfulfilled dreams of Prince Muhammad Azam. Mahasthangarh was the capital of Ancient Kingdom Pundra vardhana (the kingdom of the Pundras). The museum at Mahasthangarh exhibits an interesting collection of statues of Hindu Gods, Terracotta Plaques and Bronze Statues etc. The Mainamati Museum situated beside Salvan Bihara which is a houses of good collection of artifacts found at these Bihara area. Mujibnagar Memorial is a monument established for remembering the Mujibnagar Government or first official government of Bangladesh. Zia memorial Museum has a collection of the microphone and transmitter with which President Zia declared the country’s independence in 1971. Paharpurmuseum built in 1956-57. Houses the representative collection of objects recovered from Paharpur. It contains the collections of the artist of Zainul Abedin who is known as "Great Teacher of the Arts". Bagerhat Museum has been established by the Directorate of Archaeology of Bangladesh, where antiquaries collected from the area of the historical site are displayed providing knowledge on the history of Bagerhat. Chalan Beel is the largest water body in Bangladesh, spreading in Natore and Pabna districts.

The building itself is historic structure due to its relation with Novel leveret Rabindra Nath Tagore. This building is a two storied building. Rabindra Kuthibari is a country house build by the father of Rabindranath, Maharshi Debendranath Tagore. It now serves as a museum named 'Tagore Memorial Museum'. Museum of Rajas', commonly known as Hason Raja Museum. The museum's mission is to preserve and share the rich history of the great Raja Family of Sylhet keeping the Zamindar and Mystic poet Dewan Hason Raja Chowdhury. Hazrat Shahjalal Mazar is the most historical and religious tourist place in Sylhet. It was named after Saint Shah Jalal.
