You can enjoy the beautiful scene that the Karnaphuli River falls into the Bay of Bengal and you can hear the sweet sound of water mixing with the sea. Shrine of Hazrat Bayazid Bostami: 

Shrine of Hazrat Bayazid Bostami is situated at Nasirabad in Chittagong. It is well known as Dargah of Bayazid Bostami. The shrine was named after the honorable Islamic saint Hazrat Bayazid Bostami. The Shrine complex consists of the tomb that has been enclosed in a modern structure which is discovered in 1831. The local people acknowledge that the grave of Hazrat Bayazid Bostami is not there, but one a time Hazrat Bayazid Bostami visit this area, the tomb is nonetheless the object of adoration for the many venerators who visit there each day. A beautiful tank located near the Shrine where large numbers of a rare and critically endangered turtles are available which is known as ‘Bostami Kasim’. The Chittagong Commonwealth War Cemetery: 

The Chittagong Commonwealth War Cemetery is situated at Dampara, Badshah Miah Chowdhury Road, Chittagong, which is a memorable burial place for members of the armed forces who died during 2nd world war. This cemetery consists of about 755 burials were soldiers from United Kingdom-378, Canada-25, Australia-09, New Zealand-02, Undivided India-214, East Africa-11. This cemetery is nourished by the Commonwealth Grave Commission. Now it has become a tourist spot and every year many Foreign and local people visit the cemetery and show respect to them. It opened every day 8 am- 12 pm and 2 pm - 5 pm.

Zia Memorial Museum: 

Zia Memorial Museum is situated on the Shahid Saifuddin Khaled Road, Chittagong the port city of Bangladesh. Zia was one of the most remembered war heroes and politicians and president in the history of Bangladesh. The building of the Zia Memorial Museum is previously known as old circuit house. The museum established in 1993 and is consists of 12 galleries which consist of personal belongings, the actual microphone and transmitter over which the president delivered his Declaration of Independence speech, the table and chair from where he ruled Bangladesh.

Ethnological Museum: 

Ethnological Museum is situated at Agrabad, Sea Beach, which is the only Ethnological Museum in Bangladesh. It is one of the most cultural enriching attractions of Chittagong. This museum collects the documents are helpful for our present and future generations to know about the Bangladesh’s culture especially the tribal cultures. The museum has 11 galleries which contain some beautiful paintings, photographs, maps, models, etc. that represent the tribal cultures. Foy’s lake is one of the most attractive and popular amusement parks in Bangladesh which is situated at Pahartoli in Chittagong city. This was named after Mr. Foy, who was a Railway engineer. Mr. Foy dug this lake. This amusement park covered an area about 320 acres of land which consists of a beautiful lake, hills and green forests. Today we discuss about another longest sea beach in Bangladesh. It is known as the name of Daughter of Sea Kuakata. Because Kuakata is also called the daughter of the sea. The Coordinates are 22°49′0″N 89°33′0″E, Country: Bangladesh, Division: Khulna Division and District: Khulna District. Kuakata is one of the most beautiful places in Bangladesh. This beautiful place located in the southern part of Bangladesh. It has 30 kilometers long beach which is situated at the Lotachapli union of Kalapara Thana. Kalapara is the sub district of Patuakhali district of Barishal division. This beach is 70 km’s far away from Patuakhali Sadar and 320 km’s far away from Dhaka city.

The relation between sea and sand is forever. At the tide time, the sea goes far away from the sand and this temporary separation the sand is colored white. And without this time sand get back his life by the touch of the sea and also colored mud. The Daughter of Sea - Kuakata is one of the sea beaches where one can see both the sunrise and sunset. In the Kuakata one can also travel the Fatra Forest, Jhau Forest, Gangamati and some Buddhist Temples etc. One can also enjoy the sun rising and the sun setting here.

Fatra Forest:

This Forest is near at Kuakata Beach which is the extended part of Sundarbans Forest. It is about an hour boat journey from Kuakata sea beach. In this Forest you can see many animals like monkey, Bagdas, Jackals etc. you can also see different types of birds. You can watch big tide like 30 feet at highest and it is thrilling how the fisherman avoid these waves. Fatra Forest is the one of Eco Park that built by the government of Bangladesh. You can also visit the Fatra Forest by forest department boats. Visiting Fatra forest by boat is most interesting for the tourists. Jhau Forest:

Coconut garden means ‘narikel bagan’ in Bengali language. Kuakata coconut garden is a beautiful place for visiting which is situated at the eastern side of the Kuakata sea beach and you can reach there by only a few minutes walking. You can see there many coconut trees. The local people say that the tree's age is more than forty years old. Once a time there has many coconut trees, but the in recent decades the number of trees decreases because of the strong waves of the sea touching the garden and destroy the front side trees. This place also attracts the tourists come to visit the Kuakata sea beach.

Sun Rising:

Rising Sun is the main attraction of Kuakata. One can be able to visible best sight of the sun rising from a Kauar Char area of Gangamoti. Kauar Char is the eastern part of Kuakata beach. Every morning many visitors gather here to enjoy this beauty. When the light of the sun falls in the sea during rising moment this scenery is very attractive to the tourists. The tourist enjoy the moments with their near and dears and sometime some of them are singing a song of their favorite singers which songs are related to the sun or light.

Sun-Setting:

You can also enjoy the sun-setting in the Kuakata beach. To enjoy it better you have to present in the village of dried fish because sea glowing red during the sun setting moment. Gangamati Reserved Forest:

In the Gangamati reserved forest you can see the beautiful forest which is situated at the patuakhali region and the east of Jhau Forest. It is only one hour journey from Sundarban by speed boat and the best way to reach the forest from Kuakata by motorcycle along the beach which is very attractive to the tourists. In this forest one can also see different types of birds, isolated big trees, sands, etc. It provides you a chance of seeing an evergreen miniature mangrove forest.

In the winter the sea remains calm, quiet and during bathing time you can play with the waves in the sea, which is very attractive and interesting for the tourists. In the full moon night or moonless night medium size waves are found. In the high tide the sea is full of water, but in the low tide it becomes lifeless. You can also catch fish like as Hilsha which is the national fish of Bangladesh during the rainy season when they come to visit river from the sea. You may also visit Buddhist Temple in the Kuakata like as Misri para Buddhist Temple where containing a statue of Goutom Budhdha, is also a beautiful tourist spot. Two 200 years old wells are also present in the vicinity, Kerani Para Seema Mandir, which is a Buddhist temple and many Buddhist devotees from nearby areas come here and pray for them. During the "Rash Purnima" and "Maghi Purnima" Hindu and Buddhist devotees arrive here for a celebration and usually fairs are also arranged.

You can go to kuakata by Launch or Bus. By launch:Dhaka to Patuakhali, Starting time: 5:30, 6:30 and 7:00 pm & arrival time: 6 AM next morning. Launch Name: Sundarban, Saikat, Sattar Khan, Achol etc. Rent: Deck-150 Taka, For Cabin - 350 Taka (Single), 600 Taka (Double), 700 Taka (Family), 1500 Taka (VIP-AC). Then you can go to Kuakata beach by direct/Local bus. The Local bus per seat rent cost is 60 taka & The Direct bus per seat rent cost is 80 taka. By bus: There are many terminals from Dhaka to Kuakata, Here we describe about two terminals. Cox's Bazar Sea Beach Travel Guide

Today we discuss about the Cox’s Bazar, which is the most wonderful and attractive tourist spots in Bangladesh. It is the longest Sea beach not only for Bangladesh but also all over the World. Cox’s Bazar's Coordinates is 21°35'N 92°01'E, Division: Chittagong Division, District: Cox's Bazar District, Upazila: Cox's Bazar Sadar. It is one of the most-visited tourist spot in the Bangladesh. Cox’s Bazar has a sandy beach with a gentle slope. This beach is the world’s longest uninterrupted natural, beautiful and most attractive sandy sea beach. Cox’s Bazar tour is one of the memorable tour in your life if you travel this beautiful sandy beach.

Cox’s Bazar is known for its wide and long clean sandy beach. It is also considered as the world’s longest natural sandy Sea beach. This attractive and sandy beach located on the southern part of Bangladesh. It is about 125 Km long. This beach is located 150 Km south of Chittagong. Cox’s Bazar the longest Sea beach is known by the name of “Panowa”. “Panowa” means “yellow flower”. It has another old name which was “Palongkee”. In 1799 “Hiram Cox” the British captain defeated the Burmese king in a battle and set up a Bazar (market) here which was named “Cox’s Bazar”.

The beach is the main attraction of Cox's Bazar. Every year a lot of tourists come to visit this beach because this beach is shark free and good for bathing, swimming and sunbathing. Your visiting Sea beach will not complete if you leave without riding speed boat, riding horses, playing football and taking photos of natural beauty. You can also collect snail, peace of small stone from the seashore. You can also enjoy the Sea beach traditions. There are so many attractive religious and historical events which make the city so colorful, gorgeous and joyous for tourists. Those are:

Aggmeda Khyang: 

Aggmeda Khyang is a large Buddhist Temple located near the entrance to the Cox’s Bazar town. This temple is worshipped by thousands of Buddhists from the nearby areas. Inside the temple has a prayer chamber, assembly hall, small bronze Buddha images and a number of old manuscripts. The main prayer chamber is supported by columns that made from timber. The bronze Buddha images are collected and imported from Burma, Myanmar.

Himchari National Park: 

Himchari National Park is a popular tourist places of Cox’s Bazar, which is located about 18 Km south of main Sea beaches. This National Park was established in 1980 by the Bangladesh government and the park is covered an area about 1,729 Hecters of land. This park is perfect for bird watchers because here have 286 species of Birds. There has habitat, flora and fauna about 55 species of mammals, birds 286 species, 13 species of amphibian, 56 species of reptiles, plants 117 species. The most attractive of Himchari is there has a beautiful waterfall which is a perfect for sunbathing.

Inani Beach:

Which is located about 32 Km at Ukhia Upazila of Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh and this beach is about 18 Km long. Here you can see hill on one side and sea in other side. Inani Beach is well known for its unusually shaped rock and coral stones scattered plentifully across the beach and into the sea. The blue water of the sea and lines of stones makes the site attractive to the tourists. You can bath on the beach during high tidal sea because the beach is very wide, clam and surrounded by coral boulders. If you stand on the coral stones during bathing it’s looking as you are now standing on the midst sea and this scene is very interesting to the tourists. Ramu: 

Ramu is an Upazila of Cox's Bazar district. This upazila is especially famous for some beautiful Buddhist Temples. The Buddhist temples are Ranked Bonasram Buddha, Bihar, Saada Ching, Khying temple, Laal Ching etc. In this temple has many statues of Gautama Buddha made of gold, bronze and valuable stones. In Ramu has the South Asia’s largest coconut garden, a rubber garden, pagoda, etc. There also have some Hindu temples too. In Ramu the internal relationship between Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus and Rakhain is very good.

St. Martin’s Island: 

St. Martin’s Island is one of the most tourist places in Bangladesh. This place is most attractive and interesting place for the tourists. St. Martin’s Island 9 Km south from Cox’s Bazar. St. Martin’s Island is covered about 8 square kilometers and it is the only coral island in Bangladesh. This park is also known as “Narikel Zinzira”. Dulahazra Safari Park: 

Dulahazra Safari Park is situated at Chakaria Upazila in Cox's Bazar District. The Park is the first safari park in Bangladesh which covered an area about 2,224 acres of land. The Dulahazara Safari Park is home to at least 4,000 animals of 165 species. When you enter the park you will find an orchid collection and a museum. Here you will find some domestic elephant which is available for riding and this is very attractive to the tourists. This park has many animals like Lions, Royal Bengal Tigers, Crocodiles, Bears, Chitals and lots of different types of birds and monkeys. During winter season more than 6000 tourists and during other seasons about 2000 tourists visit the Dulahazra Safari Park.

Maheshkhali: 

Maheshkhali is an upazila under Cox’s Bazar district. The main attraction of Moheshkhali is Maheshkhali Island is located in the Bay of Bengal. Most of the tourists who come to visit Cox's Bazar sea beach also visit Maheshkhali Island. People reach there by engine boat or speed boat from Cox’s Bazar jetty and during this journey you can enjoy the beauty of the Bay of Bengal. The west and north are low lying areas randomly surrounded by mangrove forests. The scene is very attractive and it will be a good solution guide for your recreation. Except Maheshkhali Island you can visit Maheshkhali Adinath’s Shrine, Maheshkhali Buddhist Pagoda and some salt fields where salt farmers produce salt from sea water which is very interesting for the tourists.

Teknaf: 

Teknaf is an Upazila under Cox’s Bazar district, which is about 84 Km away from Cox’s Bazar. Teknaf is situated at the bank of Naf River and the name ‘Teknaf’ comes from Naf River. This place is also an attractive tourist spot for its natural beauty. Tourist can enjoy a river journey by boat in Naf River and there they can enjoy the beauty of hills and green forests with wild animals which is very attractive to the tourists. Khulna Traveling Guide

At present backdrop Bangladesh has become one of the most important traveling or tourism spots to the tourist. Khulna is another traveling place of beautiful Bangladesh. It is situated in the south-western part of Bangladesh. It is full of natural beauty and archeological places. At present time Khulna has become very important traveling place or spot to the tourists. The Coordinates of Khulna is 22°49′0″N 89°33′0″E, Country: Bangladesh, Division: Khulna division, District: Khulna district.

Khulna is the 3rd largest city in Bangladesh. It is one of the most important places of Bangladesh. The area of Khulna division is near about 25227 sq. Km. There are lots of river in Khulna. But the main rivers are Ganga, Gorai, Modhumati, Pasur, Rupsa, Bhairab, Kapotakkha , Mongla, Haringhata, Isamoti, Kalindi, Haria vanga, Mathavanga etc. There is an old river port in Khulna which is located on the Rupsa River. It is very important naval part to the Bangladeshi Industry. It hosts many national companies of Bangladesh. The 2nd largest seaport of the country “Port of Mongla” is situated here. Khulna is very important area from commercial site. But the most important fact about Khulna is the traveling site. There are two most important traveling spots are Sundarbans and Shat Gombuj Mosque (sixty dome mosque).

Sundarban is another important traveling place of Khulna; even Sundarban is the most important traveling and tourist spot of Bangladesh. Sundarban is situated both in Bangladesh and India, but the majority part of Sundarban is in Bangladesh. About 60 percent that means about two-third of the whole Sundarban forest is in Bangladesh. The most important fact is Sundarban has announced the “World Heritage Site” by the UNESCO. The most visiting places of Sundarbans are Hiron point, Karamjol, Kaikhali and Mandarbaria. In these places you can see the tigers, birds, monkeys, deer, crocodiles and obviously the beauty of the nature. Singar Mosque: 

Singar Mosque is a beautiful tourist spot in Bagerhat, Khulna. It is about 200 metres away from the famous Shat Gombuj Mosque (Sixty dome mosque) across khulna-Bagherat Highway. The mosque consists of only a single dome. The external size of the dome is 12.45 square metre. The mosque has three archways in the east and the central arch is both wider and higher than the other two and one archway on the south and one in the north sides within rectangular frames. Each arch is framed in a narrow rectangle that contains moldings and rows of simple terracotta decoration at the top. This mosque is very attractive to the tourists.

Nine Dome Mosque: 

Nine Dome Mosque is situated at the west side of Thakur Dighi, Bagerhat. It is a historic mosque in Bagerhat, Bangladesh. It was built in the fifteenth century by a Mughal general on orders from Emperor Babur and then it was supervised later on by Emperor Humayun. The size of the mosque is 15.1 square metres which is roofed over with nine hemispherical domes and rest on four free- standing stone columns. It has three archways openings on the north, south and east sides and above all the arches there are horizontal rows of moldings. The mosque consists of three mihrabs (A semicircular niche in the wall of a mosque that indicates the qibla; that is, the direction of the Kaaba in Mecca) in the western walls and the centra mihrab is larger than others. Every year thousands of tourists come here to enjoy this historical beauty.

Ronvijoypur Mosque: 

Ronvijoypur Mosque is one of the most beautiful mosques in Bagerhat. It has a reputation that its dome is the largest dome in Bangladesh and it is about 11 metres width and supported by 3m-thick brick walls. The mosque is situated only 1.5 Km away from Shat Gombuj Mosque (Sixty dome mosque) and opposite side of the Khan Jehan Mausoleum. It is built according to Khan Jahan style of architecture. The mosque’s interior is plain and the main mihrabs are decorated in floral patterns. This mosque attracts the tourist very much.

Bibi Begni’s Mosque:

 Bibi Begni’s mosque is also a beautiful single domed mosque and it is situated at only about quarter miles west from the famous Shat Gombuj Mosque and the Bibi Begni’s mosque is stands on the bank of the Ghoradighi. This mosque is similar with Singar Mosque in general appearance except that it is larger and massively built. The building has three entrances on the east and one each on south and north sides. The central doorway is larger than other tows. The corner turrets are relieved with bands of mouldings at regular intervals.

Shat Gombuj Mosque (Sixty dome mosque), Bagerhat, Khulna: 

Shat Gombuj mosque is the archeological tourism place or spot of Khulna division. Shat Gombuj mosque is in Bagerhat district at Khulna. Shat Gombuj mosque was built in the mid of 15th century. A Muslim colony had built this beautiful and historical place. One of the greatest Sufi saints General named Ulugh Khan Jahan Ali had built this mosque. And for this Shat Gombuj mosque Bagerhat has become an important historical spot. He was the earliest torch bearer of Islam in the South of Bengal means Khulna division. There are about sixty domes in this mosque. Shat Gombuj mosque is the largest and the greatest traditional mosque in the country. We will be briefly discussed about it in our Shat Gombuj Masjid post.

The Chunakhola Mosque: 

Chunakhola Mosque is a beautiful mosque which is about 1km away from the Bibi Begni’s mosque. The mosque was built in the 15th century, is located in the middle of rice fields in the village of Chuna Khola. This mosque also has a single domed mosque like Singar Mosque. It has three mihrabs where the central mirhab is both wider and higher than other mirhabs. The mosque is about 7.7 square metres which has three entrances in the east and one entrance on the south and one in the north sides.

Khan Jahan Ali's Tomb: 

Where the greatest Sufi saints General named Ulugh Khan Jahan Ali was buried is known as tomb of Khan Jahan Ali. It is locally well known as Majar of Khan Jahan Ali or dargah complex of khan jahan. This tomb is one storied building and this building has a nice dome. In the middle of the building consists the grave of Khan Jahan Ali. The tomb is made of cut out stones. On the tomb there are inscriptions in Arabic. Khan Jahan Ali’s Tomb stands on a beautiful high artificial mound on the northern bank of the so-called Thakurdighi. The scene of tomb and the dighi (lake) is very attractive to the tourists.

Khodla Math Temple: 

Khodla Math temple is a beautiful tourist spot in Khulna. This temple is situated at Ayodhya which is about 11 Km away from Bagerhat, Khulna. It was built by the Brahman in early 17th century. It is 20 metres high onthis extra-ordinary beechive-like Hidu Building. Till now Khodla Math Temple is one of the tallest Hindu Structure ever built in Bangladesh. The entrance façade is thought to have originally be decorated with moulded terracotta art but it now badly wethred. This temple is about only 5 Km away from the Sundarbans. 

Bagerhat Museum: 

A small museum is located in front of the Shat Gombuj Mosque where antiquaries collected from the area of the historical site are displayed providing knowledge on the history of Bagerhat. This museum is established by the department of Archaeology of Bangladesh. The museum consists of inscriptions, potteries, terracotta plaques and ornamental brick and some beautiful pictures of important historic buildings of Bangladesh which attract the tourists very much.

Excluding the above visiting places there has many tourist places and they are Prem Kanun which is a nice statue made of trees. The Home of Khan E Sabur and it is situated at Lobon Chora area where two lion sculpture to the Rupsha River with staircase into the river which is a beautiful scene of the river and nature. Fultola Zoo is a beautiful place to spend a whole day with your family where you can find some animals, various native and non-native birds etc. and this zoo is very interesting to the Children’s. You can hire a vehicle from the city center. Rupsha Bridge is a long awaited bridge over the Rupsha River connecting Bagerhat and Mongla port. You can walk along the bridge and take a snap of Khulna city and the Rupsha River and a beautiful place frequently travel by local people and many more. Visiting this place will be a good solution for your recreation.

Hope that it will be helpful solution to you.The way of Sundarbans : Water transport is the only way to visit Sundarbans. Firstly you have to go Khulna by bus or train. The bus services are Hanif, Shyamoli and BRTC etc. Then you have to hire private motor launch or speedboats or country boats from Mongla or Khulna to go there. Another special tour to Khulna is by “Rocket Paddle Steamer” from Dhaka to Khulna. The way to Shat Gombuj Masjid (Sixty dome mosque): Bagerhat is about 45 km from Khulna. One can use local buses to arrive there. Then have to use local transport to go the mosque.

Sunamganj is situated at northeast side of Bangladesh. Around Sunamaganj there is beautiful Sylhet District to the east, Habiganj District to the South and Netrokona District to the west and the north side is India. The name of Sunamganj was named after Sipai Sunamuddin. Many generations ago, he started a bazaar on the banks of Surma River. The beautiful places of Sunamganj are mainly situated in border area. There are lots of rivers in Sunamgang but the main rivers are Surma River, Kushiyara River, Ratna River, Da’uka another name Danuka River. The main attraction of Sunamganj is Haors and Beels means wetlands ecosystems which are mainly in the border side of Bangladesh.

Haor means a vast area which if full of water in the time of rainy season but in the time of summer it is a field of various crops. Tanguar Haor is the 2nd biggest Haor of Bangladesh. Tanguar Haor is in the border area of Bangladesh. June to December is the best time to travel in Haor area. Before that time the Haor is look like a crop field. Laurer Garh is one of the most important traveling spot of Sunamganj of Bangladesh. Laurer Garh is also situated at the border area of Bangladesh.
